God?

Yes we all know God, well we claim to know God. People hear the word God and they would rather run the other way then to stop and hear what anyone has to say. Understanding is knowledge, and to understand you must learn... correct? To learn about a faith, we need to do research. Yet we are afraid we will get "TURNED" as they say, but as americans we learn many things we fill our heads with knowledge everyday, whether its on which brand of jeans fit my body better? What kind of car should we get as a family? What is the best camera we can get for our money? We will sit and do countless hours of online research, we will even go and try the product out, we even research vacation spots. We equip ourself with information.

 Religion is not any different.  We have just pushed into todays society that its almost taboo to claim a religion.  We take God out of the pledge to accomodate people, yet our country the very constitution was founded on God fearing men. But really who is God, who is this man that christians speak of?

To know God is to love and fear him. He sent his only son to die for our sins, for we are only human and are not perfect or never will be.  Jesus knew Gods will for him, and went willingly he didn't run, hide, or like a child throw a fit and question God.  He took the beatings and ridicule, he hung on that cross so my sins OUR sins would be forgiven and we could get into the kingdom of heaven.

To some living on faith and trust in something we cannot see is foolish, but yet we have faith and trust the trees and plants wont fails us and keep producing the oxygen we need to breath yet we dont see the oxygen. Before you go claiming i know what your religion is about, I know God, read his book, take the time to research him for countless hours. Come to the conclusion with knowledge with information about him and his word, find out for yourself who God is.

God is kind, God is understanding, and God has unconditional love for you.

Gaming in your home

Hello, yes i am going to hit this with a hammer and take it all the way.  We as a family are gamers. In more depth we are huge xbox gamers. When you sit down with the wireless controller in your hand hit that button and bam the heavens open up, the angels start singing, the green light appears, your tv flickers and on comes the best gaming console in the world.

Yes we all know that feeling of turning on the xbox, knowing your just moments away from a mind blowing gaming experience. Or like most hoping that your boys will not hound you about your last night halo scene you running around with a sticky grenade on your spartan helmet. 

For me sitting down and turning on that console, is instant release from the day. Its like the very first cold beer after a long day of work, just my beer cost me 200+ bucks. The games we choose defines who we are. Me i prefer carnage, shooter games, games that are meant to melt your mind into goo.

So to sum it up go home, take off your shoes strip down to your undies, grab that controller sit back and loose a few brain cells.
